Finding My Why and Why you should too…

Hello I’m Megan Williams! I want to thank you for coming to my website, I hope you sign up to my email list to be notified of any updates. My purpose for creating this community were to help others step into their inner “alien”. We all have something that makes us different and unique, sometimes we know what it is and sometimes we do not. But if we continue to allow ourselves to grow we can start to allow that “alien” to be seen. What made me choose the name Dark Alien Writer is, well for one my nickname is Meg.A which stood for Meg.Alien and were given to me by my dad. He use to call me that because he said I were different and how unique I am. It took some time to understand and see it for myself but I finally began to see it for myself. The writing comes into play because I’ve always loved writing it’s actually one of the things that truly helped me mentally and allowed me to get and write out some of my darkest moments. It allowed me to express my thoughts and feelings freely, no judgement, no arguing, no defending, no right or wrong just free emotions. Which is why I truly believe that it’s important to allow yourself to process your dark moments instead of suppressing them, because you can’t heal in a healthy way by leaving things in the dark because you will continue to trip over it while pretending it’s not there. Ever since 2019, starting this has been heavy on my heart but I kept holding myself back from doing so. Well it’s actually been way before then it’s just God put it heavy on my heart in 2019. I started trying to process how I would get and do this, and then COVID-19 happened. This were a blessing and a curse at the same time. It were a curse because of all the lives that were lost from the virus, but it became a blessing to me because I got to sit with someone I’d neglected for some time. MYSELF! Also while sitting with myself I began to journal and write again. I began processing everything that had happened, began truly grieving the loss of my dad, and it also most importantly brought me back to my relationship with my Heavenly Father as well. I began seeking Him being He were the only one there as I went through another dark valley. So I’ve had to take off so many masks and make myself bare in order to get back to who God created me to be. During this time I changed up my routines, created contracts for myself (sounds crazy but I wanted discipline and accountability), discipline, and created major boundaries to get to this point. So it kept getting deeper and deeper in my heart that what helped me can help someone else and to get and share what I’ve learned and what helped me grow with others. I truly do love seeing others grow and step into their full power and potential, and taking back everything the enemy has tried to take away from them.

So this is “my why” for creating a community that truly cares and a community of other Aliens just like myself. Anything that have helped me I am willing to share with you through various ways of content. I will have resources such as blogs, videos etc., that can help benefit others but most importantly interact with others and we all can help each other. I love communication, and I will take the time to comment, email you back, and respond to you as soon as possible. I am big on writing, like as in pen to paper (it’s cool if you like to journal digitally); so I will be giving journaling prompts and giving questions to get your mind thinking. I will also be sharing things with you that I love such as God and his greatness, pens, stationery, my language learning journey and etc. Just all the things that make me who I am. So thank you for taking the time to read this, but it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t give you something to write about. You can comment or you can journal them out in your own personal journal your thoughts on these prompts. I hope you have a blessed day and Thank you again for taking the time to read this, don’t forget to sign up with your email for updates.

  • What is something that’s been on your heart that you haven’t confronted yet?

  • What will it take to truly pursue what’s in your heart? (Like what areas are you needing discipline in to get to it?)

  • What is your purpose/ your why? If you don’t know then what can you do to get there?

  • Tell me below if you would be up for a journaling challenge. (for those that are wanting to get into journaling, as well as those who journal regularly.)

Megan Williams

I am Megan. I love everything about writing and everything about helping others on their journey to self discovery. Especially through writing. Writing has saved me and helped me through so many situations. It helped me know who I truly am in times I’d forgotten. And with that I hope to help others realize the same as well.
